We so enjoyed helping Katie and Daniel tie the knot at the BWB Ranch in Laporte MN! We love the BWB Ranch - As you enter the long winding driveway, you feel like you are entering another country. The setting couldn't be any more beautiful and Julie, the owner, is amazing! Laporte was somewhat of a mini destination for guests, (and us), but it was great fun and everyone was together all weekend! Most of the guests stayed at Chase on the Lake Resort in Walker MN and the wedding party stayed at Kee-Nee-Moo-Sha, a family resort in Hackensack, MN.

The wedding day started off with Katie and bridesmaids getting their hair and make-up done by SM Makeup Inc. (who are amazing btw)-meanwhile we arrived at the barn to start setting up. We loved the decor Katie chose-simple, elegant and rustic! A color pallet which consisted of sage, gold and navy was chosen to reflect the colors in nature-trees, sun and the lake. Gold wine bottles with wild flowers, birch candle holders, along with terrariums-which made by Katie's Aunt, were placed on the guest tables.

After Katie and Daniel were ready and looking their best, Tim Larsen Photography captured their first look! Tim is an amazing photographer with a great sense of style and eye to catch "the shot". We loved working with him throughout the day!The couple decided on an Interfaith ceremony which included Jewish traditions. We lined up the wedding party, including the 6 flower girls, complete with their flower crowns. The couple chose on a trio of musicians for the ceremony, which add a nice romantic touch. Katie was escorted under the chuppah by both of her parents. The ceremony consisted of signing the ketubah, sharing wine and came to a close with the traditional glass breaking.

After the ceremony the guests headed up to the barn and enjoyed the couples chosen signature drinks: blackberry mojitos, old-fashioned's and sangrias. Appetizers were passed while guests took in the scenery and played yard games. Katie and Daniel enjoyed a little alone time while eating their first meal together as a married couple. Cafe Racer served a delicious plated dinner (on Rustic Elegance's vintage plates). After dinner and eating yummy cake by Butter Cream Bakery, the guests enjoyed dancing by Ntertainment and smores. The couple also took part in the Hora-the traditional chair dance-so fun and festive!
