Ahnah + Ryan | Creekside Farm
Ahnah + Ryan were such a S W E E T couple. Lead planner Kellie loved her meetings with Ahnah talking about her wedding day dreams at Creekside [which is one of our F A V venues!].
The day finally came and the fall colors were G O R G E O U S! Kellie and assistant Kelly set up the ceremony site and inside the barn while the wedding party prepped for the day ahead. The ladies sported some flannels during their makeup & hair time with Lisa Reinhardt. After Ahnah’s hair and makeup was all set, the couple did a first look and their reactions were priceless! The bride sported some F U N cowboy boots, and the groomsmen’s boots consisted of shotgun shells. Alma Film & Photography snagged some more cute photos of the wedding party and couple before Rustic Elegance led the “Day of Rehearsal” before guests started to arrive.
The ceremony was set up “creekside” at Creekside - how F I T T I N G! We loved the addition of the Rustic Elegance ceremony doors and wine barrels at the entrance, surrounded by the beautiful yellow leaves. The bride’s uncle built their cross backdrop which was A M A Z I N G! Although the day was a little brisk, the guests toughed out the weather to give the couple what they had dreamed of - the most perfect outdoor ceremony. Their wedding party consisted of 8 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen and of course, their cute pups Zeke and Pooka as the ring bearers! The couple said their promises to each other, and just like that, they were married!
Guests then headed into the barn for the reception. The tables were decorated with wood slices, antlers, burlap runners and lots of greens. The wedding party did a grand entrance back into dinner to ACDC’s Back in Black, with the couple coming in from the large, farm doors at Creekside - such a fun touch! Everyone then enjoyed a buffet, pig roast dinner by This Little Piggy, and then it was time for desserts!! The dessert display was set up with a variety of donuts, cupcakes, and a small cake for the bride + groom. The cake was to be used later for a game of “cake in the face” between the bride and groom! After dinner, the couple played a touching video about their journey together, and there was not a dry eye in the room.
It was then time to dance it out! The newly married couple started things off with, dancing to Grow Old by Florida Georgia Line, followed by the father/daughter dance to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw, and lastly, the mother/son dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Guests then joined in and danced into the night! There was also a super cool photobooth van available throughout the night for guests to snap a quick photo. Pizza was provided as a late night snack, which was appreciated by everyone. As a takeaway, the couple had put together trail mix in a mason jar for their guests to take home. To top off the night, the couple exited through a tunnel of sparklers into their first night as husband and wife!!
Ahnah + Ryan - we absolutely loved being your day of coordinator for your wedding day and wish you all the best in your new life together.
Special shout out to Alma Films & Photography for sharing these G O R G E O U S photos with us!!
