THE PLANNING

Aubrie and Tyler are seriously one of the sweetest couples! Lead planner Kellie had the pleasure of working with them via Zoom meetings throughout the planning process. They decided on a Sunday wedding with about 140 guests at the beautiful Almquist Farm. They were able to accent the venue by utilizing a few of our rentals and it turned out amazing!

THE MORNING

When the wedding morning arrived, we were happy to see that it was a beautiful (and hot) fall day in Minnesota! The couple and wedding party got ready in the beautiful suite at the barn. Primped spent the morning with the ladies, prepping their hair and makeup for the day ahead. During this time, the RE team was busy setting up decor and greeting vendors.

The couple then made their way outside (without crossing paths) to do their first look. It was truly such a sweet moment, I mean look at how cute they are! We love Aubrie’s dress from David’s Bridal! Following the first look, the couple went with Kelly Birch to take a few super cute couple portraits. The RE team then swooped in to gather everyone for a quick day-of rehearsal run through.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony site was absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect amount of shade on this sunny day. We especially loved the floral installations on the arch provided by the florist Marah Cole. A special touch to the ceremony was that the couple's son was escorted down the aisle by both of the couple’s moms, how sweet is that?! Their flower girl did an awesome job tossing flower petals as she made her way down the aisle! Right behind her was the beautiful bride escorted by her father. The ceremony consisted of 5 readings, a sand unity symbol, and the couple’s vows (which they wrote themselves)! The officiant was a family friend, which made the moment even more intimate! After sealing the ceremony with a sweet kiss, the couple did a receiving line and made their way to the grainery for a toast with the bridal party.

THE RECEPTION

Cocktail hour made for the perfect social time for guests to mingle and catch-up. The couple also opted for no assigned seating, which allowed the guests to continue their conversations with whomever they wanted at dinner. The guests’ favors were soaps that the couple made which was such a fun touch! The guests loved getting something that they knew they would utilize. Meat Heads provided a buffet dinner for everyone to indulge in while Almquist Farm’s bartenders kept the drinks flowing!

It is always so exciting to see the empty venue come to life when it is filled with guests and the couple's decor. We also love watching our rentals in action! The couple used our ladder and crates to display a memorial photo tribute, our lanterns and wood slices on the guest tables, and our wooden dessert stand for the cake. Speaking of the cake, we just have to take a moment to admire the artistic ability that the bride’s mom has, who made all the desserts! We are very impressed to say the least.

The couple made their way to the dance floor after dinner to do their first dance and parent dances. Each of the dances were so sweet and full of love! After the first dances the DJ (who happened to be the groom’s step dad) kept everyone on their feet dancing all night long!

The couple ended their beautiful day with sunset photos and a sparkler send off. Kelly Birch beautifully captures these moments!
