The Planning

Elle and Reid got married back in June of 2020 during the heart of Covid restrictions. They were one of many couples faced with the difficult decision of what to do about their wedding this year. They decided that the most important thing to them was to get married, and it did not disappoint! The couple had a small, intimate ceremony at Redeemed Farm with 20 of their closest friends and family. They had planned to have a larger reception on their one year anniversary, but their 2020 ceremony was so magical that they no longer felt the need for a larger celebration!

The Morning

The morning of the wedding the ladies and gents got ready off-site. Elle arrived at Redeemed and slipped into her beautiful wedding gown. After the bride and groom were both ready, they did their “first look” (which was adorable)! During this time, the Rustic Elegance team was busy setting up decor items, greeting vendors, and tying together all of the last minute details.

The Ceremony

The couple had a unique ceremony which maintained proper social distancing, which turned out absolutely amazing! The location was set up with the guests seated around a gorgeous floral circle in the middle of Redeemed Farm’s vineyard. Aster Wonders did an outstanding job with the personal florals, ceremony flowers, and guest table vases! Elle’s dad walked her down the aisle and led her up to the edge of the flower circle where her soon-to-be husband met them. The magical scene was perfectly set with beautiful guitar music. Reid and Elle then stepped into the flower circle to say their I do’s, water their unity Bonzi tree, and officially become husband and wife!

The Reception

After the ceremony, it was time for cocktails and dinner to be served. During cocktail hour, the couple received a surprise Zoom call from guests who could not attend but wanted to congratulate them - this was such a special and touching moment! As guests filtered into the barn for dinner, the Rustic Elegance team repurposed the ceremony florals to the couple’s sweetheart table and raked up the floral circle from the ceremony. For dinner, each couple/family was seated at separate tables (covid) where they enjoyed a delicious meal served by Deco. The couple decided on a variety of pies for their sweet treat, yum! After guests enjoyed their dinner and dessert, the couple departed in their getaway car which was decorated by family and friends!
