THE PLANNING

Kate and Nic came to us for help coordinating their wedding at The Gardens of Castle Rock. They were seriously one of the sweetest couples ever! We had such a blast planning the day with them and their 90 guests.

THE MORNING

Kate and her bridesmaids arrived at the venue bright and early to get ready in the bridal suite on site. Onyx Salon joined them to ensure that they would look and feel stunning for the day ahead! Hoff Photography made sure to capture a few detail shots while the ladies were prepping for the day. We are still obsessed with the bride’s Converse shoes that were covered in pearls!

While the bride was busy slipping into her gown from The Wedding Shoppe and getting fun photos, the RE team of Kellie and Kierra were busy pinning on boutonnieres, greeting vendors, and setting up decor.

Once everyone was ready, it was time for the bride to begin her first looks! She had a list of special people in her life that she wanted to have a first look with including her grandma, dad, brother, mother in law, bridesmaids, and of course her groom. Each one was filled with so much love! The bride and groom opted to read their vows to each other during the first look, which made that moment even more emotional!

Hoff Photography then took the couple and their wedding party around the venue for a few photos which turned out so fun!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place in The Gardens of Castle Rock’s beautiful Lath House. Studio B Floral added florals to the venue’s arch for an added touch of elegance. Guests were met with a stunning and unique space as they entered! Once everyone was seated, the RE team began cuing the wedding party. Once they all made their way gracefully down the aisle, it was time for Kate’s grand entrance! When there is this much love in one space, it is doubtful that there will be a dry eye (even for the bride). It is truly such a special moment to witness! 

To make things even sweeter, the couple’s friend was the officiant. This created such a comfortable environment for the couple and their loved ones! As the ceremony wrapped up, Kate and Nic did a memory box for a unity symbol and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! The RE team was ready to grab Kate’s bouquet and get them anything they needed before the ushers dismissed rows for the receiving line.

THE RECEPTION

After the ceremony, the RE team moved the flowers from the arch and placed them on the head table where the 13 wedding party members would be sitting. This floral piece along with the bouquets was the perfect touch for the head table! The whole tent was decorated with draping and string lights from We’ve Got It Covered. It was elegant during the day and provided romantic lighting in the evening!

During cocktail hour the guests enjoyed a popcorn bar from This Little Piggy, socializing with one another, and drinking beverages served by Liquid Motion. When it was time for dinner, the RE team began directing guests into the tent to find their seats via the seating chart. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party did a grand entrance which the couple followed up with a sweet welcome speech. Then it was time for everyone to dig into the delicious buffet provided by This Little Piggy!

The couple chose to have dessert provided by Sweet Cakes - Nothing Bundt Cakes in Minnetonka. We have a partnership with this location because it is near our office, so we were able to pick up and deliver the bundt cakes for the couple! The RE Team made sure that they were displayed for guests to enjoy as dinner wrapped up.

It was then time for the couple’s first dance! This was extra exciting because their first dance song was a surprise to the groom. He had no idea that the bride helped create a song for them! This was such a fun twist to their special moment together and made for a great addition to their wedding video that KAS Films created.

Complete Weddings and Events then opened up the dance floor to everyone and it stayed full all night long! When they weren’t busy tearing up the dance floor, guests were welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds and fireplace. Complete Weddings and Events also provided a photo booth which guests had a blast using! Oh, and we can’t forget the late night Dominos that everyone devoured!

Kate + Nic, the two of you were some of the sweetest people we have ever met! We hope that married life has been nothing short of amazing!
