Katy + Jason | Circle B Ranch
THE PLANNING
Katy and Jason crossed paths with Rustic Elegance at the venue’s open house where had a booth set up. After chatting for a bit, they realized we were the perfect fit for their wedding! We quickly got to work planning their wedding at Circle B Ranch for them and their 160 guests.
THE MORNING
The night before the wedding, the family was on site to set up as much decor as they could. By the time that the RE team arrived the next day, the space was already looking beautiful! We picked up where they left off by setting up ceremony decor outside and making sure everything was set per our plan.
Meanwhile, Katy and her gals were getting their hair and makeup done by Style House in preparation for the day ahead. While the bride slipped into her gown from Posh Bridal, the RE team joined the guys to help them pin on their boutonnieres. Then it was time for Swaying Pines Photography to take the couple out for their first look and a few portraits in front of the barn!
Not long later, the remainder of the wedding party joined the couple to capture fun group shots before hiding away as guests arrived.
THE CEREMONY
Once the guests were seated, we made sure that the wedding party was lined up correctly. They had a big group consisting of 6 bridesmaids, 3 junior bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, 4 flower girls, and one ring bearer. Oh, and we can’t forget their officiant who was the groom’s mom! After everyone made their way swiftly down the aisle, Katy was escorted down the aisle by her father. She looked absolutely stunning!
The couple shared a beautiful ceremony with a cord ceremony, unity candle, and a few scripture readings. They shared a kiss in front of the beautiful arch that was covered in florals by Joy Unspeakable Flowers. It was truly a picture perfect moment!
After a celebratory exit, the couple did a receiving line with their parents and signed the marriage license. They were officially married!
THE RECEPTION
After guests enjoyed a social hour with drinks from Hitch and Sip, it was time for dinner! Once everyone found their seats, we sent the wedding party out for the grand entrance. The wedding party entered to “I Gotta Feeling”, and the couple entered to “Crazy in Love”. As the excitement died down, the mother of the groom stepped in to say a welcome and a prayer before everyone began eating. For dinner, This Little Piggy served a delicious buffet that everyone enjoyed thoroughly! During this time, there were various toasts and speeches said that were fun for guests to listen to as they finished their meals. And we can’t forget the delicious dessert that Something Sweet by Maddie Lu provided! The dessert buffet consisted of cake, cupcakes, macarons, and cannolis just to name a few. The baker set these up when they were delivered, and the RE team continued to refill the platters as needed.
While everyone was enjoying their tasty food, Swaying Pines Photography took the couple out to capture a few sunset portraits and capture clips for their wedding film. We love the beautiful countryside content they were able to get at Circle B Ranch!
In preparation for dancing, we helped move pre-determined tables and decor to free up space. Upon their return, the couple shared their first dance as well as the traditional parent dances. The cozy vibes of the barn at night are perfect for these moments! Studio Veil then opened up the dance floor to everyone and kept the party going all night!
Guests were able to participate in various other activities including a bonfire with a cute s’mores station, yard games, and a photo booth from Studio Veil. Everyone also got a guest favor, which consisted of chocolate chip cookies with milk made by the bride’s family. What a yummy idea!
As the night began to wrap up, guests had the opportunity to indulge in late night pizza before busting a few more moves on the dance floor. The RE team did our clean up package and loaded up the designated trailer throughout the evening. When the night came to a close, Lorenz Bus Service was ready to shuttle everyone safely back to their hotel. What a successful day celebrating the happy couple!
