Tell us a bit about you?
Hey, I’m Hope! I graduated with degrees in Hospitality Management and Marketing, so working as the Office Coordinator and Assistant Wedding Coordinator at Rustic Elegance is a great fit. You may see me on site at your wedding, but most often I’ll be writing a blog post about your day! My free time is usually spent enjoying nature, searching for a good thrift find, or spending time with my loved ones (and pets)!
What makes you smile?
Watching the sunset, a good comedy show, and a beautifully written love story!
What other hobbies do you enjoy?
I really like photography. I love capturing a moment and being able to relive it every time I see the picture!
What’s your favorite flower?
I absolutely love Dandelions, they're like two flowers in one! They also symbolize many things like happiness, health, and perseverance. But if Dandelions don’t count, Forget Me Nots are a close second. :)

Falling Inn Love

I have yet to find a pickle that I don’t enjoy. They’re all so good!

“She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
Why did you get into wedding planning?
When I was younger being a wedding planner was my dream job, but I thought it was something really difficult to get into. When I was deciding on a career to work towards after high school I realized this dream could be a reality, and here we are!
What is your favorite part of the wedding day?
I love seeing all of the details that were so carefully planned out for months come to life. It’s such a rewarding feeling to see the bride and groom smiling and enjoying their special day!
Why do you love backyard weddings?
I love watching a casual location turn into something elegant and beautiful. Something about being in a backyard setting makes the day feel so intimate!
Any great stories or moments from past weddings?
One of my favorite weddings is the first one I worked with Rustic Elegance back in 2021. The couple had two little daughters that were involved in every aspect of their day. They walked their mom down the aisle, participated in the unity tree watering, sang during the ceremony, and joined the first dance. It was such a sweet, casual backyard wedding!
What tips or advice do you have for couples working on planning their wedding?
If you are feeling overwhelmed by all of the decisions that come with planning it’s okay to take a short break to recuperate. The planning process should be enjoyable and rewarding!
Best advice for the couple on their big day?
Take a moment to breathe, look around, and take everything in. The day will fly by!
