Maryclare + Ted | Golden Oak Farm
THE PLANNING
Maryclare and Ted got married on a beautiful September day last year at Golden Oak Farm! This venue is S O gorgeous and fun - we especially loved the llamas [+ so did the guests]. Another fun part about this venue is that the house is available to rent, so the couple and their wedding party/family took advantage of this opportunity and spent the weekend there. Pre-wedding, lead planner Kellie worked with the couple on their Elegance Package details. The couple lived out of state, so we were very happy to help them from afar. Due to the amount of rentals we brought, we got to use our shiny new trailer to transport it all! The Rustic Elegance delivery squad delivered the trailer the night before the wedding and unloaded it.
THE MORNING
The next morning - we woke up ready to get these two M A R R I E D! My and Kellie arrived onsite to help place the rest of the rentals/decor while the wedding party prepped in the house. Apres dropped off the chairs and linens for the reception. The ladies got ready with Luminous Beauty helping them with their hair and makeup, while the guys got all dressed up. The wedding party consisted of 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen and an adorable ring bearer/flower girl combo. Flowers were put together by Maryclare’s mom and were S O gorgeous. Sarah Chacos caught some great shots of the wedding party and family, and before we knew it, it was ceremony time!
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony took place Riverside at Golden Oak - we love this ceremony site with the river flowing in the background. Our shepard’s hooks and mason jars filled with wildflowers lined the ceremony aisle as guests took their seats. The wedding party glided down the aisle with the beautiful accompaniment from two members of the Bluewater Kings Band, followed by Maryclare + her dad walking to “I belong to you”. The couple’s friend, Matt, stood as their officiant and helped them make it official! After the first kiss, the couple walked out to “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” by the Beach Boys, and stationed themselves under one of the big oak trees for their receiving line.
THE RECEPTION
After they got through greeting all of their guests, everyone headed off to the cocktail hour in the house/patio area. The Bluewater Kings Band duo played casual music as guests mingled and enjoyed passed appetizers from Gastrotruck. Guests then moved to the lower part of the barn for dinner. The tables were decorated with Rustic Elegance milk glass vases filled with wild flowers. The couple decided on a plated meal for their guests, which was provided by Gastrotruck. Maryclare and Ted enjoyed their first meal together as a married couple at an A D O R A B L E sweetheart table. For dessert, the couple opted for cupcakes and cake using Rustic Elegance cake stands/crates. After dinner speeches + dessert, everyone headed upstairs for the dance! More members of The Bluewater Kings Band arrived to get the party started - and truly kept it going all night long. Every one of the guests joined the dancing fun and the dance floor remained packed all night long! Seriously the most dancing we have seen!
This wedding was so S T U N N I N G and we had so much fun being a part of their day [and we also worked really hard, we got our steps in with each of the planners tracking 13 mile]! Maryclare + Ted - we hope that married life is treating you well + you are enjoying this new adventure in life together. Thank you to Sarah Chacos for sharing these amazing photos featured in the blog!
