Ali + Graham | Furber Farm
THE PLANNING
Ali and Graham were such a fun couple to plan with! They came to us as a referral from one of our lead planners, Kierra. We love having referrals from our team and past couples! Lead planner Kellie got to meet with Ali on the porch of our office while indulging in some wine (the best way to plan)!
THE MORNING
When the wedding day arrived Minnesota brought in some fun spring weather! The ladies spent the morning in Furber Farm’s bridal suite getting their hair done by Jamee Kim Hair and makeup by Tasha. The guys hung out and got ready in the groom's quarters which are also located on site. While the bridal party was getting ready, the RE team started setting up decor and greeting vendors!
After the bride and groom were dressed and beautiful, Terra Sura Photography set them up for an adorable first look! The wedding party joined them shortly after for some group photos that turned out so fun! And we have to take a moment to appreciate the suits. We loved the pop of color next to the girls’ neutral dresses! As photos wrapped up, the RE team swooped in to grab the wedding party for a quick day of rehearsal to run through all the ceremony details!
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony setup was absolutely stunning! The arch was provided by the couple and embellished with greenery and florals by Hadley Road. Just as we were ready to start the ceremony, a quick, unexpected rain shower moved in. All of the guests ran into the barn until the rain passed a few minutes later. The RE team, along with the help of some friends and family, quickly wiped off the seats and it was officially ceremony time! The wedding party gracefully made their way down the aisle to “Your Song” by Elton John, followed by the bride’s grand entrance being escorted by her father. The bride’s brother, Sean, did an amazing job officiating the wedding, invoking both laughter and happy tears in the audience! The couple shared a kiss and they were married!
THE RECEPTION
Once the ceremony was over, the RE team quickly grabbed all of the greens and moved them to the head table to repurpose the decor. After cocktail hour, the guests made their way to their assigned seats in the barn to enjoy a delicious taco buffet provided by Tinucci’s for dinner. The wedding party entered the barn to the Austin Powers theme song, “Soul Bossa Nova”. The bride and groom said a sweet welcome, and it was time to eat! (Fun fact: The draping and greenery you see behind the head table was provided by the couple and stayed up for a few weddings after theirs too!) When speeches started, the best man and maid of honor surprised the couple by doing a rap song as their speech. They were nervous, but it was amazing and everyone loved it! (They did so great)!! Guests also helped themselves to some yummy desserts provided by a family friend that were displayed on our Eileen Dessert Collection.
The couple then made their way to the dancefloor to do their mother-son and father-daughter dances (which were so cute)! These dances were followed by the couple’s first dance to Uptown Funk and guests were invited to join in at the end of the song to get the party started! Adagio did a great job of keeping the party going all night long!
Ali + Graham, we absolutely loved your great energy throughout the entire day! The RE team had a wonderful time being included in your big day!
Shoutout to Terra Sura for the beautiful photos used in this blog post!
