THE PLANNING
Carly and Josh were seriously some of the sweetest people we’ve met! Lead planner Kellie had so much fun working closely with Carly to ensure that every detail of their day would go as smoothly as possible. They spent a lot of time utilizing our planning program to keep track of all of the moving parts. After months of planning, it was time to bring their wedding to life at the beautiful Belles Event Center with their 155 guests.
THE MORNING
The Minnesota weather brought a beautiful fall day for Carly and Josh! The ladies made their way to Belles Event Center bright and early to start getting ready. The talented Belle Ame’ Salon and Taylor Marie Beauty joined them and worked together to help prep the ladies. The RE team of Kellie and Danielle were on site and ready to help. They greeted vendors, set up decor, and handled the important task of ensuring that the bride and groom didn’t see each other before the ceremony.
THE CEREMONY
When it was time to head to the ceremony site we had to be extra careful that the bride and groom did not cross paths. Danielle went to hide with the bride while Kellie took the remaining members of the wedding party to the ceremony site. While the bride was waiting for her grand entrance down the aisle, she hid out behind an apple tree with Dani! The wedding processional consisted of 6 attendants on each side, as well as the grandmothers and great aunt. The couple’s 2 dogs, Brody and Augger, also held the important job of being the ring bearers!
When Carly finally made her big reveal there were smiles all around - especially from her groom! They did their unity symbol, which was a wine box sealing, shared a long awaited kiss, and they were married!
THE RECEPTION
We are convinced that Carly and Josh’s wedding captured all of the best parts of fall. The crisp sunny weather, the apple orchard, and the sweet smell of apple pie in the air. Yep, you read that right, they even had apple pies getting baked fresh on-site! The mix of pies would be served to the guests later that night for dessert. They also had a small cake for just the two of them to cut and enjoy. Hitch & Sip was also busy serving up drinks to the guests during cocktail hour!
After the guests enjoyed socializing, they made their way to their seats for a delicious buffet served up by one of our favorite caterers, A’BriTin (exclusive to this venue)! The wedding party entered the reception to “Hooked on a Feeling” and Josh followed it with a short welcome speech. The wedding party was seated at a beautiful head table with an elegant backdrop that the couple provided. Guests were given dog treats as a favor to bring home to their furry friends. We’re pretty sure Brody and Augger were hoping for their newly married parents to save them a couple of favors too!
After dinner the couple quickly made their way back out to the apple orchard with Jennifer Sanders Photography to get super cute portraits before coming back in to dance! The couple shared a sweet first dance followed by their parent dances. You can see just how special these moments were in the photos! Following these dances their DJ, Studio Veil, opened up the dance floor to all guests. Studio Veil also provided a photo booth for guests to use throughout the night which was super fun!
Carly + Josh, we had so much fun planning with you and helping bring your day to life! We hope that marriage has been just as special as this night was. Thank you for having Rustic Elegance on your team!
