THE PLANNING

Nicole and Kelly are seriously some of the kindest people you’ll meet (and the best parents)! We had the pleasure of being very hands on with their wedding as they booked our Elegance Package Plus. You may be wondering what this entails, so here’s a list of some things we did for Nicole and Kelly:

  • Helped book their vendors

  • Went to vendor meetings with them

  • Went to a few catering tastings

  • Met with the florist to decide on flower designs

  • Delivered and removed the items they rented from us

In prep for the wedding, we did a lot on site as well. Lead planner Kellie made 3 site visits to figure out the best way to fit the tent and ceremony in their backyard. The couple ended up deciding to clear out a bunch of trees for the tent and a new garage that they wanted to build. It was a close one getting it all done in time, but totally worth it (and the new garage made for a great prep space)! The tent was delivered by Apres the Thursday before the wedding and the RE team was there to manage setup. We’ve Got It Covered came the next day to set up the draping and lights in the tent. It’s always so fun to see a backyard turn into a venue!

THE MORNING

Saturday arrived and it was officially wedding day! The RE team of Kellie, Hope, and Danielle showed up bright and early to help set up decor and the ceremony chairs (with some help from Kelly and his groomsmen). We also set out our wood tables for the head table, barrels, and arch. Studio B Floral was also on site with their team busy setting up the beautiful florals throughout the backyard. While this was going on, Nicole, her bridesmaids, and her flower girls (daughters) were in the house getting ready. The Chughtai Group spent the morning with the ladies making sure that their hair and makeup was looking perfect! Everyone was able to zip around the property all morning thanks to a golf cart rented from Morgolf. This made it super convenient for set up and tear down!

When the couple was finished getting ready, they did their first look and couple photos with M Photography (but not before Kelly took a break to feed the chickens)! The RE team then rounded up the wedding party for a quick day-of rehearsal to ensure that they all knew what to do during the real ceremony.

THE CEREMONY

As guests got off of the shuttle from Total Transportation we directed them around the garage to the ceremony site. Unparalleled Parking arrived to provide professional security for the remainder of the event. The bride made her grand entrance to “Holy Holy God Almighty” with her two daughters by her side. And if you didn’t think it could get any cuter… their daughters even sang a special song during the ceremony! The family did a tree planting as their unity symbol before the bride and groom shared a kiss, making them officially married! They ended the ceremony with a receiving line. As people made their way from their seats the RE team (and some helpers) moved the chairs over to the tent to be ready for the reception.

THE RECEPTION

The tables under the tent were a mix of round and rectangle. They were decorated with a few of our rentals including table numbers, wood slices, gold chargers on the head table, and candles. The guests were also able to grab wedding favors of sunflower seed packets. Once it was time for cocktail hour to wrap up, the RE team began getting everyone seated for dinner. This Little Piggy did not disappoint with the meal and even put on a show while carving the pig! We got busy dismissing tables for the buffet and making sure that any elderly people got assistance through the line if wanted.

Dessert consisted of delicious cake, mini cupcakes, cake pops, and cannolis from Dorothy Ann’s Bakery. They were placed on our dessert stands and guests could take their picks back to their seats on our mismatched vintage plates. The couple also opted to have blue cotton candy to honor their son who had passed. You could also find cherry coke at the bar as it was another one of his favorites. In addition to this we set up a memory stand using our crate shelf with photos and a few of his favorite things.

The couple then shared their first dance with music run by Adagio. The couple had their daughters join in at the end which was so sweet! The night finished off with a garter and bouquet toss along with plenty of dancing and socializing.

Nicole + Kelly, we had so much fun getting to know you and sharing this special time with you both. We hope you and your family are happily enjoying married life!

Thank you to M Photography for sharing these lovely photos with us!
