THE PLANNING

Chelsey and Eric were such a sweet couple to work with! They decided to book with us just three short months before their wedding when they realized they needed some extra help making sure all of the details were covered (which is exactly what we’re here for)! The wedding was set to take place at the bride’s parents house, so we made a site visit to help decide on ceremony and tent placement. It was such a beautiful location and we loved working some magic to make a “venue” out of the property!

THE MORNING

The mid-May weather brought a gorgeous sunny day - perfect for a wedding! The girls headed over to a neighbor’s house to get ready with Lexi Schmidt for hair and Beauty by Studee for makeup (all of it turned out so beautiful)! While everyone was getting prepped for the big day, a group of the couple’s friends helped the RE team set up the ceremony chairs (we greatly appreciated their help).

As the girls finished getting ready, Chelsey did a first look with her bridesmaids. Based on their reactions alone you can tell she looked absolutely stunning! The couple then read letters from each other and did a first look (both of these things were so sweet)! Soon after, the RE team swooped in to gather the wedding party to run through a quick day of rehearsal led by our amazing Marissa H.

THE CEREMONY

The touching ceremony took place in the backyard of the property. The father of the bride made the cross which the couple stood in front of to say their I do’s. Bloomberry Floral accented this piece to make for a super elegant look! Eric escorted Chelsey’s mom down the aisle and returned to walk down with both of his parents. The bride made her grand entrance escorted by her father, leaving everyone teary-eyed and smiling! The couple did a unity braid tying, sealed all of their sweet promises with a kiss, and they were officially the Youngs!

When the ceremony was complete, friends/family and the RE team worked to move the ceremony chairs to the tent. We made sure that there was a chair at each spot at the dinner tables. The head table was eye-catching with greens provided by the florist and repurposed ceremony flowers placed on the front of the table. While this was taking place the couple made their way into the house to sign their marriage licence.

THE RECEPTION

Cocktail hour provided the perfect time for guests to socialize and play games like Jenga and cornhole. There was also a fun photo backdrop rented from Houikkos for guests to take their own pictures in front of throughout the night! The couple rented some items from our rental selection as well including our bar, barrels with a wood door for the dessert display, a sofa for the bride and groom at dinner, and wood chairs at the head table. While the guests were occupied during cocktail hour, the wedding party went with The North Photography who captured some amazing photos of the group and the couple!

Dinner consisted of delicious food provided by two food truck companies. Guests could either get tacos from Turbo Taco or BBQ from The Market BBQ Food Truck. Desserts were cupcakes and a gluten free cake for the couple, all of which was made by a family friend. There was also a great hosted bar run by the amazing Liquid Motion team. Once everyone was seated in the tent, the bride and groom said a welcome speech and the pastor said a prayer. After eating, the bride and groom made their way to the dance floor for their first dance to “Catch” by Brett Young. This was followed by adorable mother-son and father-daughter dances. The stunning florals provided by Bloomberry Floral hanging over the dance floor made the moment even more magical! The DJ, who was a family friend, then welcomed all guests onto the dancefloor and kept everyone dancing all night long!
