Kylene + Eric | Almquist

THE PLANNING

Kylene + Eric were such a fun duo to work with! Our team enjoyed helping these two coordinate their wedding at the beautiful Almquist Farm located in Hastings, Minnesota. We also had the pleasure of working with Kylene’s mom, Robin, throughout our time with them!

THE MORNING

When the wedding day arrived everyone was lively with excitement - even the goats! The wedding party spent the morning getting ready at the venue in the beautiful bridal suites where the rooms were filled with laughter and anticipation! During this time the RE team (Marissa H and Mandy), got to work performing a seamless set up and checking in with all of the vendors as they arrived. Each vendor arrived right on time, eager to do their part to make the day amazing!

THE CEREMONY

Kylene and Eric opted to do a first look by the barn before the ceremony (such a sweet moment)! Jeannine Marie Photography then captured stunning photos of the sweet couple on the beautiful grounds of Almquist. The rest of the bridal party joined them shortly after for some lively group photos! We absolutely loved the bouquets made by Studio B Floral! After photos, the RE team rounded up the party to do a quick ceremony rehearsal (we even make sure the little kiddos know their part)!

If we could describe this ceremony scene in one word it would be breathtaking. The color scheme matched perfectly with the native wildflowers growing at the venue! The wedding party glided down the aisle, with the youngest member getting a helping hand from lead planner Marissa. As Kylene rounded the bend in the path with her father, everyone began to tear up. Eric’s face was filled with love as he watched his soon-to-be wife walking down the aisle (so sweet)! Surrounded by the gorgeous scenery and their closest loved ones, they were officially married!

THE RECEPTION

After the ceremony, the guests made their way into the barn for the reception. Cannon River Catering provided some amazing buffet options as well as delicious pies for dessert! The bride and groom then shared their first dance to Ray Lamontagne’s “You are the Best Thing”, followed by some super cute parent first dances! It was such a beautiful night that the guests split up their time between the dancefloor run by Complete Music inside of the barn, and the bonfire + yard games outside.

While everyone was celebrating and socializing, the couple snuck away with Jeannine Marie Photography to get a few evening pictures (which turned out beautifully)!

Kylene + Eric, we absolutely loved being included in your awesome vendor team! We wish the best for you two in the new year!
