THE PLANNING

Emily and Aiden, along with the bride’s mom Nancy, were so much fun to plan with! The bride and her mom met with RE owner, Kellie, in her office for their planning meetings. Our team has a lot of experience with Redeemed Farm weddings, so we were thrilled to offer our expertise to pull together the day for the couple and their 175 guests!

THE MORNING

The ladies arrived at Redeemed Farm bright and early to do their hair and makeup. They helped each other with their glam which made for a fun morning of makeovers with the bride and her besties! Meanwhile, the guys were in the Groom’s Quarters playing pool and hanging out until it was time to get dressed. The RE team was also on site to set up decor and greet vendors as they arrived.

Once everyone was ready, we helped pin on the guy’s boutonnieres to complete their attire. Then it was officially time for the first looks! Aiden did a first look with his mom and Emily did one with her dad and one with her brothers. Even the two little ring bearers got their own first look with the bride! We love the bond you can see between these two and their families!

Emily and Aiden then did their first look. These photos are filled with so much emotion, we can’t get enough of moments like these!

Jenny Cvek Photography then took the couple and their wedding party around the venue grounds for a few photos. All of which turned out so amazing! Once the pictures wrapped up, we pulled the wedding party aside for a quick day of rehearsal. If you are on the fence about having a rehearsal on your wedding day, be sure to check out our blog post about why we love them HERE.

THE CEREMONY

The couple opted for their ceremony to take place in the stable. They used the venue's arch, which the florist added flowers to. There were also small tins of flowers tied with lace to the aisle chairs. The couple’s friend/neighbor was in charge of the florals and we have to say, she did a great job!

Once all the guests were seated, we began cueing the processional as we had practiced earlier. After sending down the groom with his parents, the bride’s grandparents, 8 bridesmaids/groomsmen, a flower girl, and two ring bearers, it was time for Emily’s grand entrance! The RE team of Kellie and Rachel shut the big white doors to the stable and reopened them to reveal the bride and her father. She looked absolutely stunning!

The couple decided to write their own vows and have the pastor read them. This was followed by a foot washing unity symbol. Once the sweet ceremony came to an end, the couple sealed the promises with their first kiss as husband and wife! They then dismissed each row so that they could greet and say a quick hello to all of their guests.

THE RECEPTION

While guests were outside enjoying drinks served by Liquid Motion and snacks provided by the couple, the vendors were busy behind the scenes! The RE team moved the arch flowers to the head table and the aisle flowers to the windows in the dinner barn. The guest tables were filled with mason jars with flowers and greens for decor. The venue’s team was also working on flipping the ceremony space to become the dancing area later in the evening.

Before calling guests into dinner, the couple asked everyone to gather in front of the red barn for a fun group photo! Jenny Cvek Photography then went to the upper level of the barn and captured a photo of the couple and all 175 of their guests - what a great memory to have!

Guests then made their way into the dinner barn and found their assigned seats on the mirror seating chart that the couple provided. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party and the couple did their grand entrance. They all had a great time coming up with fun ways to enter! As the excitement calmed down, the couple said a welcome speech, followed by their officiant saying a prayer. Then it was officially time for everyone to enjoy the delicious buffet from Lake Elmo Inn!

For dessert the couple provided a variety of yummy Crumbl Cookies, along with a small cake to cut. The RE team brought the couple’s cake to the head table for them to cut. We loved the wire heart cake topper!

Near the end of dinnertime, the couple snuck out with Jenny Cvek Photography to get a few more portraits around the venue. We love how these turned out, I mean look at that adorable getaway car!

Everyone then gathered in the stable to watch the first dances, all of them were so sweet! Once all of the special dances were done, Studio Veil welcomed everyone onto the dance floor and kept the party going all night long!

As the evening progressed, Redeemed Farm lit the bon-fire in the firepit and provided bean bag toss. Guests were also encouraged to sign the Jenga “guestbook” and use the photo booth and props provided by Studio Veil! The RE team set out the remainder of the cocktail hour snacks as a late night snack, which the guests loved. The couple also booked our clean up package, so our team stayed until the end of the night to ensure that all decor was cleaned up and packed away!

The night wrapped up with Emily doing a bouquet toss, lots of dancing, and a bubble send off. It was truly a great night celebrating this lovely couple!

Emily + Aiden, it was such a pleasure to plan with both of you and Nancy! Thanks for having Rustic Elegance on your team!

Big thank you to Jenny Cvek Photography for sharing these photos with us!
