THE PLANNING

We had the pleasure of working with both Haley and David throughout the planning process. Our meetings took place both in person and over Zoom. These two were so sweet and so much fun to plan with! We were all eager to celebrate their love at Willow Brooke Farm with their 170 guests.

THE MORNING

The couple opted to rent the farm house on the venue’s property the night before the wedding. This way the bride and her bridesmaids could spend the night there and get started with hair and makeup right away in the morning with Nay Danger Style. While everyone was getting ready, the RE team was busy greeting vendors and setting up decor. Once the ladies finished glam, it was time to get dressed. Haley slipped into her gown from Our Shop Bridal and the RE team made sure the guys had their boutonnieres pinned on before photos started.

Sweet Roots Photography then took the couple out to do their first look and portraits before inviting the wedding party for group photos. There are so many fun places to take photos at Willow Brooke Farm!

When photos wrapped up, the RE team pulled the wedding party aside to run through a quick day-of rehearsal. We also used this opportunity to chat with the ushers about their duties during the ceremony. It always makes everyone much more comfortable when they get to see the exact layout of the venue and run through the ceremony before show time. This is one of the many reasons we love doing day-of rehearsals, but you can read all about the benefits on THIS blog!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place at the vineyard on site. The Cutting Garden, one of our favorite florists, provided the arch and decorated it with florals that perfectly matched the couple’s theme! As guests arrived at the venue via Broz Shuttle, the RE team directed them to take a seat for the ceremony. Once everyone was seated, we sent the groom down the aisle, who was escorted in by his parents. Following behind him were the 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, who took their places at the front. Haley then made her grand entrance with both of her parents escorting her. She looked absolutely stunning!

The couple shared a sweet ceremony with their family and friends in attendance. From the personally written vows to making an old fashioned as their unity symbol, their ceremony was a direct reflection of their relationship. Everyone was more than pleased to celebrate the newest Mr and Mrs!

THE RECEPTION

Cocktail hour took place in the pavilion. The couple had fun collecting unique glassware leading up to the wedding, which guests were able to pick from to drink out of for the night. This was such a special touch and Willow Brooke Farm was awesome for taking on the task of serving guests via their glasses all night! Not to mention they had a super cute mobile trailer bar that they served out of! Deco also made sure to keep everyone satisfied with plenty of passed appetizers rotating around the space.

Meanwhile, the RE team and other vendors were busy perfecting the reception space! The Cutting Garden provided table numbers and 3 different table decor options including large bouquets, small bouquets, and candles with greenery. The head table was harvest style and decorated with the repurposed bridesmaid bouquets. The caterer provided the linens for the guest tables. Tip: Make sure if your caterer is providing the linens that you either pick them up ahead of time or they drop them off at the venue in the morning. Most of the time catering doesn’t arrive until later in the day and the florist/coordinator will need to be setting up the tables in the morning.

As cocktail hour came to an end, the RE team began inviting guests to find their spot via the place cards the couple provided. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party did a grand entrance all together, followed by the bride and groom. The energy was high as everyone prepared to celebrate the happy couple! Deco Catering made their way around to serve a delicious plated meal to everyone. Near the end of the meal, there were speeches from the father of the bride, father of the groom, brother of the bride, and brother of the groom. Each of these guys had such sweet (and funny) things to say about Haley and David!

For dessert, the couple rented the donut board from Glam Doll Donuts to display the wide range of donut options. If donuts aren’t your vibe, they also had plenty of bundt cakes from Sweet Cakes - Nothing Bundt Cakes to choose from!

The RE team then made their way in to move a few tables and a bit of decor off of the dance floor to make room for dancing. The couple kicked off the night with their first dance to “Dance With You” by Brett Young. The live band, Good for Gary, then kicked off the dance party and kept everyone boogying all night long!

Meanwhile, the RE team cleaned up the couple’s decor and the florist came back to grab her items. By starting the clean-up process slowly after dancing is underway, we are able to grab items that guests won’t even notice so that your family and vendors can ensure they leave the venue on time!

When the night came to an end, guests got a safe ride back to the hotel from the Broz Shuttle. It was a great day celebrating the happy couple!

Haley + David, thank you for having Rustic Elegance on your team! You were both so much fun to work with and we hope married life has been amazing!

We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to wrap up Haley and David’s wedding day highlight than to share their amazing review. Thank you so much for your kind words!

Where to even begin…we were completely blown away by the service we received through RE. From our very first meeting with Kellie right down to wedding day, we felt 100% confident that our special day would be under control thanks to the experience and professionalism of Kellie and RE. Kellie is truly a godsend and I cannot fathom how RE is able to accomplish all they do not only on wedding day, but also leading up to the day. In meetings leading up to the wedding, every detail is discussed more than once to ensure the day-of went smoothly. Quite honestly, we wouldn’t have even known Kellie and her assistant Kierra were there on wedding day as they work behind the scenes with vendors/etc to ensure the couple’s day is as stress free as possible. We were truly grateful for Kellie and the service we received throughout the best few months of our lives. We owe it all to you for making our day extra special and stress-free! :)
