THE PLANNING

Little Log House is one of our favorite venues as it brings such a unique historical energy to a wedding day! That being said, we were overjoyed when Kaci and Sam came to us to help coordinate their day at this venue. They were the sweetest couple and we couldn’t wait to help them celebrate with their 250 guests!

THE MORNING

taThe day started off with the wedding party getting ready in their respective suites on site. Blissful Beauty and Taylor Marie Beauty joined the ladies to perfect their hair and makeup and ensure they felt their best all day long! Meanwhile the RE team was busy setting up decor, greeting vendors, and pinning boutonnieres for the guys. Kaci then slipped into her beautiful gown from The Wedding Shoppe and everyone was ready for the day ahead!

Once everyone was ready, Anne Noel Photography brought Kaci around for her first look photos. She started with her bridesmaids, which was the perfect way to get hyped up for the day ahead! Her next stop was with her dad. These ones always bring happy tears to our eyes! Kaci amped it up with a sweet gift to her father. This was such a sentimental moment!

The final first look of the day was with her groom. We can’t get over how happy they look the second they are with each other! The couple took this time to read their private vows to each other. So sweet!

Anne Noel Photography then accompanied the couple to the cemetery to visit the groom’s father. It’s moments like these that we love helping couples build into their timelines. Your wedding day should be about what is important to you!

Upon their return, they took couple portraits, group wedding party photos, and even a few pictures with their pup, Hudson! As photos wrapped up, we pulled the wedding party aside for a quick day-of rehearsal. We say it all the time, but we love doing your rehearsal at the venue on the wedding day. With our experienced team it is quick and seamless. Find out why we love day-of rehearsals so much by reading this blog!

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony site was absolutely stunning! VMS Designs provided florals for the fireplace mantle that perfectly matched the couple’s theme. Elise Butler-Pinkham and her husband played live music which amped up the ambiance of the space! While the ushers helped direct guests to the stable and everyone took their seats, the wedding party hung out in the bridal suites to stay hidden. Once the guests were seated, we let them know it was time to head out and to watch for our cue!

Sam began by taking two trips down the aisle, escorting both Kaci’s mom and his own mom. He was followed by the 7 attendants on each side, which included two Maids of Honor, two Best Men, and one junior bridesmaid (who was the couple’s niece). The guests then rose and drew their attention to the doorway for Kaci’s grand entrance with her father. “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was being played live by the pianist and cellist. It was the perfect moment!

The couple had various meaningful details during their ceremony. Sam’s godmother did a reading, the couple did a special Native American unity symbol, and they had a tribute to the groom’s dad on the first chair - a quilt made out of his shirts. So sweet!

When the ceremony concluded, the couple dismissed rows as a form of receiving line. They then signed their marriage license with both of their grandmas signing as well. We love this special touch!

The couple then stepped aside to take a moment to themselves. We highly recommend this so that you can take everything in before the party kicks into gear and the whole day becomes a whirlwind! Meanwhile the RE team was busy moving the ceremony decor to the reception and placing the bridesmaid bouquets at the head table.

THE RECEPTION

As guests made their way to cocktail hour, they were met with drinks served up by Little Log House and snacks provided by the couple that the RE team helped prep. When it was time for dinner, we began moving people into the reception space. It was beautifully decorated with a mix of acrylic table numbers, bud vases, and candles that the couple provided!

Once everyone was seated, the wedding party did a fun grand entrance. Right after the couple made their way in, we helped Anne Noel Photography get a photo of the bride and groom at every table. This was such a fun way to get everyone involved! Moments like these also made great clips for their wedding film from Exist Media.

As everyone calmed down from the excitement of the table dash, we began dismissing guests to the delicious buffet dinner from Classic Catering. Following dinner, everyone satisfied their sweet tooth with yummy donuts! The couple also had a cute cutting cake that was perfect for photos!

When it was time for the first dance, the RE team helped move predetermined tables off of the dance floor. The couple shared a sweet first dance, followed by both traditional parent dances. Nick Thomas Entertainment then opened up the dance floor to everyone and got the party started!

As the night progressed, there was a late night snack of pizza and plenty of dancing! Guests had the option to take a shuttle from Treasure Island Resort for a safe ride back to the hotel. Meanwhile, the RE team got to work cleaning and loading up the trailer per our clean up package the couple opted to add on.

Kaci + Sam, you two were absolute sweethearts to work with! We are honored that you chose Rustic Elegance to be on your team. Cheers to many years of love!

Thank you to Anne Noel Photography for sharing these lovely photos with us!
