Paige + Tyler | Diamond Oak
THE PLANNING
We had the pleasure of helping coordinate Paige and Tyler’s beautiful wedding in Iowa back in 2020! Lead planner Kellie was assisted by Kelly the day of the event at the stunning Diamond Oak venue. The RE duo stayed the night in Iowa, before and after the wedding day since it was an out of state wedding for us!
Back in 2018 we helped with Tyler’s sister's backyard wedding, so we were beyond excited to work with this lovely family again (you can read all about Paige and Devin’s wedding HERE)! We also got to meet Paige and Devin’s baby, Mabel (she is so adorable)!
THE MORNING
The late July weather made for a beautiful hot day. The ladies got up bright and early to begin getting ready! Hannah Hagen worked some hairstyling magic while Madisen Ziebell began applying some elegant makeup. While the girls were getting glammed up, the gents were busy getting ready and socializing. During this time, the RE duo was busy setting up decor, greeting vendors, and assuring everything was ready for the big day.
Paige decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids which was so fun and special! The beautiful bride then made her way over to Tyler to do their first look (it was super sweet)! LMCY Photography captured some stunning couple shots during this time as well! After this we helped guide the wedding party through a day of rehearsal, which was followed by some fun group photos.
THE CEREMONY
As the guests arrived for the ceremony they were invited to grab a glass of wine from the bar. While everyone was getting seated, the RE team prepped the wedding party for walking down the aisle just as they had practiced earlier that day. Tyler was escorted by both of his parents, and Paige walked down with her dad. As the processional was moving along, we noticed that the flower girl/ring bearer wagon wheel had fallen off. Thankfully, the large wedding party provided enough time for our team to utilize our emergency kit to zip tie the wheel back on (resulting in the cutest entrance ever)! Whew! The couple’s mothers lit the unity candle, and after many touching words they were officially married!
THE RECEPTION
After the ceremony, the wedding party hopped on the trolly provided by Diamond Oak for a quick joy ride and to capture additional photos! Guests enjoyed yard games in the shade, as well as some drinks and socializing!
Soon, guests made their way to their assigned tables for dinner. Families were seated together and served a plated meal from Prime and Wine due to Covid. Masks were also provided to everyone for this reason. Each bridesmaid and groomsmen had a special gift bag at their seat provided by the bride and groom which we had placed earlier in the day. The couple said a touching thank you speech that was followed by a prayer said by the officiant.
After dinner, everyone was welcomed to grab an individually wrapped dessert (also due to Covid) from Sweet Tooth Cupcakes. The RE duo then got to work moving the sweetheart table to make room for the dance. The couple did their first dance to “Heaven” by Kane Brown (it was super sweet)! MOJO Productions opened up the dance floor to all of the guests and kept the party going all night long! Later in the night they did a garter and bouquet toss and offered a served late night snack of pizza provided by Jake’s Pizza. While the trolly brought guests back to their hotels, we began cleaning and packing everything up.
Paige + Tyler, we had so much fun working with you and your families on this special day! We hope that marriage has been nothing short of spectacular!
Shout out to LMCY Photography for sharing these awesome photos with us. We loved reminiscing on this day!
