THE PLANNING
Working with Lydia and Benny to bring their dream wedding to life at The Gardens of Castle Rock was so much fun. Lead planner Kellie worked closely with the bride to ensure that all of their needs were met and every detail was well thought out. Everyone was so excited to celebrate, the wedding day couldn’t come soon enough!
THE MORNING
The ladies arrived to the venue bright and early and got started with hair and makeup. The glam squad for the day was run by Hair by Kayla Nelson and JLee Beauty. They worked with the ladies to ensure that they were feeling their absolute best for the big day ahead! The bride’s crew had a fun-filled morning popping champagne and enjoying mimosas. While the wedding party was busy getting ready, the RE team was on site to greet vendors and set up decor. Studio B Floral was also at the venue to deliver their bouquets and decorate the arch at the ceremony site. All of the floral elements elevated the space and made the day even more stunning!
After getting ready, the bride did a first look with her dad and then her groom (both were so sweet)! Sophisticated Grace did an amazing job capturing the love and happiness from these moments into her photos! Afterwards, everyone gathered to take wedding party and family photos.
THE CEREMONY
The couple got married under the Lath House at the venue. It’s such a uniquely beautiful space! Lydia was escorted by both of her parents down the aisle. This ceremony was a special one because the groom’s dad was officiating! It was fun to hear what he had to say since he knew the couple so well. After sharing sweet words, exchanging beautiful rings, and sealing it all with a long awaited kiss… they were officially husband and wife!
THE RECEPTION
The reception took place under the venue’s tent. The space consisted of a mix of rectangular and round tables with linens from We’ve Got It Covered. The table decor consisted of vintage bottles with flowers from Studio B Floral and taper candles which the florist also provided. Guests enjoyed yard games and the kids got to have fun with a box full of activities like hula hoops, balls, and glowsticks! With a Twist also made sure to keep the drinks flowing during cocktail hour and all night long.
When it came time for dinner, guests were excited to dig into the taco bar provided by Divine Swine (it really was delicious)! Before we dismissed guests to the buffet, the wedding party did a fun grand entrance, the couple said a heartfelt thank you speech, and the groom’s step dad said a prayer.
After dinner, the RE team helped move tables off of the dance floor to make room for Day One DJ to get the party started! The couple shared a first dance to “Millionaire” by Chris Stapleton before the floor was opened up to all of the guests. The venue then got the outdoor fireplace started and we set up a s’mores station! Later in the evening guests were served a late night snack of pizzas that were made by the gardens staff in their outdoor pizza oven (so yummy)! When the celebrations finally came to an end, Carlson Lines was there to safely shuttle guests back to their hotels.
