Mallory + Matt | Hidden Meadow and Barn
The Planning
Mallory and Matt got married at the beautiful Hidden Meadow and Barn on a sunny October day. Lead planner Kellie absolutely loved her planning meetings with Mallory - she’s so sweet!
The Morning
The couple stayed overnight at Hidden Meadow, so when the morning of the big day arrived they were able to head right to the bridal suites to start getting ready. The bride was in one suite with her three little girls Lucy, Audrey, and Frankie who were her flower girls, while Matt got ready in the other. The couple decided against having bridesmaids and groomsmen and just had their cute family as their wedding party! Mallory got her makeup done by Jamie Mikkelson and the four girls got their hair done by a family friend - they all looked beautiful! While everyone was getting pampered, the Rustic Elegance duo of Kellie and Marissa O. worked to set up decor and prepare all of the details of the day. The couple rented some RE Decor including wood crates, table numbers, and gold votives which looked amazing!
The Ceremony
Before the ceremony began, the couple did a first look amongst the trees that were bursting with fall color, it was so gorgeous and made for some great pictures by Angela Kissel Photography (who also owns the barn)! This was followed by a first look with the bride and her dad which was so cute! The 3 little girls were then surprised with special flower crowns made by the florist who was a family friend to wear as they walked down the aisle (so fun)!
Time for the ceremony! The groom escorted the bride's mom and his parents down the aisle, followed by the 3 flower girls (who did a great job!). Alma Films was able to get some adorable video footage of this! The bride then made her grand entrance escorted by her dad. The couple had a family friend be the officiant, which made the ceremony so personal! They shared their I Do’s, sealed it with a kiss, and they were married!
The Reception
When the ceremony ended, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with drinks, passed appetizers, yard games, a fun photo booth run by The Traveling Photo Booth and a bonfire that was going all night. Once guests were seated for dinner, the couple made their grand entrance joined by their little girls, such a cute family! The couple decided on a pizza buffet for dinner from Community Crust, which was so unique and delicious! Hy-vee donuts were provided for dessert which everyone enjoyed!
The couple had their first dance to “Precious Love” by James Morrison and the little girls joined halfway through which we loved! The Bluewater Kings Band then opened up the dancefloor and kept it full of energy all night with their live music!
