The Planning

Elaine and Lucas were such a fun couple to plan with! Their wedding at John P. Furber Farm was full of energy, personality, and love! The day was seamlessly coordinated by our Kellie and Kelly duo, resulting in a night to remember.

The Morning

The late September weather brought a beautiful day for Elaine and Lucas’s wedding. The ladies got their hair and make-up beautifully done by Primped up in the bridal suite while the guys got ready in the groom’s room downstairs. The groom took this opportunity to get his hair done as well which we loved! Why should he be left out of the pampering on their special day?! While this was going on the RE team set up decor and greeted vendors, making sure that all of the details were in place. The couple rented our ceremony doors, wine barrels, easel, and dessert stands. This RE decor really helped elevate the beautiful Furber Farm venue space!

The Ceremony

Before the ceremony started, the bride did a first look with her bridesmaids (super sweet) and her groom (so adorable)! These made for some great pictures by Carly Mac Photography. The groom wore a non-traditional plaid coat and striped bow tie which added some fun flare to his look and really showed off his fun personality!

Then ceremony time arrived! This took place on the front lawn at Furber Farm which was absolutely gorgeous! Lucas was escorted down the aisle by both of his parents and the rest of the wedding party glided down the aisle to beautiful music played by Adagio. Elaine made her grand entrance to an instrumental of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” escorted by her father. The couple decided to use a wine box with notes as their unity symbol, which was placed on one of our wine barrels. They then said their I Do’s and made their way back to the bridal suite to sign their marriage license.

The Reception

When the ceremony was over, guests were able to enjoy yard games and drinks during cocktail hour. The couple chose to have signature craft brews, Surly Todd the Axe Man for his and Fair State Roselle for hers served by A’BriTin.

As dinnertime arrived, guests began to get seated to enjoy some delicious meatballs and bruschetta from This Little Piggy. The couple’s seating chart was wonderfully handwritten alphabetically by a friend and was a statement piece as it was huge! The head table had a beautiful greenery backdrop made by The Cutting Garden, who provided all of the stunning florals for the wedding! The RE Team set up some scrumptious desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes on our black dessert stands.

After dinner wrapped up, the couple did their first dance to “Baby I’m Yours” and Adagio got the music started for the dance party! The bride and groom were both on the dancefloor busting out their best moves all night long! As the evening went on, This Little Piggy provided a late night snack of pizza, which was greatly appreciated by everyone! The RE team worked on cleaning up the space and packing away decor at the end of the night (courtesy of our cleanup package!).

Elaine and Lucas, we had so much fun coordinating your special day and hope that you’re loving married life!

Thank you to Carly Mac Photography for the amazing pictures used in this post!
