Erin + Colton | Redeemed Farm
THE PLANNING
Erin + Colton were the sweetest couple to work with! Lead planner Kellie enjoyed working with Erin and her mom to plan all of the fun details leading up to the special day. As the couple just passed their 2 year anniversary (yay!!), we decided to reminisce on their wedding day.
THE MORNING
The first day of June was finally here, the day couldn’t have been any more perfect. The bride arrived at Redeemed Farm to get ready with her ladies in the bridal suite, with the guys arriving later to do the same. The girls got their makeup done by Makeup by Mici and their hair done by Selah Salon, which turned out gorgeous! Kiana Grant Photography captured photos of them primping, which turned out adorable! While the bridal party was getting ready, the RE team of Kellie and Kierra set up their decor around the venue. The couple rented some RE decor including our pink loveseat, display hutch, chandelier, easel, wood ladder, and much more. All of these items combined with decor from We’ve Got it Covered and gorgeous floral’s from Main Floral helped create the couples vision for the day!
THE CEREMONY
Before the start of the ceremony the couple decided to do a first look (which was adorable). I mean look at Colton’s reaction to his stunning bride! After sharing this moment and exchanging gifts, it was time for bridal party photos. The bridal party was large, consisting of 9 bridesmaids and groomsmen, junior attendants, and a flower girl, so these pictures were full of smiles!
After finishing up pictures with Kiana Grant Photography, it was ceremony time! The couple decided to have their ceremony in the top of the barn, which is was so romantic! This also made for an amazing setting for Aster & Ivory to get awesome video clips. The groom was escorted down the aisle by both of his parents, followed by the wedding party. The bride then made her grand entrance, escorted by both of her parents. Two friends of the couple played the music for the ceremony which was so special! The couple did a unity braid, said their I Do’s, and they were married!
After some time spent socializing and taking photo booth pictures, the guests were moved back into the barn for dinner. The room was set with so many fun details including candle holders the couple collected and table numbers that were in a tea cup with a succulent. These succulents doubled as wedding favors for the guests (so creative)! The couple put a lot of thought into the decor and it truly showed! They also provided chargers and a vintage bird cage as the card holder.
As guests got settled in their seats, the father of the bride said a prayer and welcome and dinner was served. A’Britin catered a delicious buffet which was enjoyed by all. Dessert was all out featuring cupcakes, cookies, from The Buttercream Bakehouse and a bundt cake for the couple to cut. When dinner wrapped up, Mark Haugen DJ got the couple’s first dance started to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Guests were then welcomed to the dance floor and Mark Haugen DJ kept the energy up all night! A bonfire was started and a late night snack of walking tacos was brought in, which guests thoroughly enjoyed! When the end of the night came around, they did an LED sparkler send off which was a great alternative to real sparklers! Rustic Elegance stuck around to finish packing up decor and make sure nothing was left behind (thanks to our clean up package)!
Erin and Colton, we loved being a part of your special day and hope that both of you (and your baby boy!!) are enjoying life together!
Special shout out to Kiana Grant Photography for the beautiful pictures used throughout this post!
