THE PLANNING

Gina and Justin were such an easy going couple to work with, which made our time with them so much fun! When planning their day, they wanted the wedding to reflect their personalities with something simple yet elegant. This is how they decided on the beautiful Jean Acres as their wedding venue. It combined sweeping countryside views with elegant wedding touches! The RE team was present the day before the wedding to help set up decor in the barn and to assist with leading the rehearsal in the church. It was a great way to ensure that everything was prepped and organized before the big day!

THE MORNING

When the wedding day arrived it was a hot June day (nearly 100 degrees)! The bride and groom spent their morning getting ready and sharing drinks with their respective sides of the wedding party. The ladies were accompanied by Just Cuz for hair and makeup that turned out amazing! When the RE team arrived on site we focused on greeting vendors and doing some last minute prep. This included ironing a few wrinkly tablecloths and adding a few simple greens and candles to make the space feel even more elegant! Before the start of the ceremony, the couple did an adorable first look and shared some sweet words with one another.

THE CEREMONY

Guests gathered in the church as the start of the ceremony neared. The RE team had thoughtfully placed baby’s breath on the pews to create a simple but elegant look. The wedding party consisted of 6 bridesmaids and groomsmen, a flower girl, and a ring bearer who was actually the couple’s son (so cute)! The ceremony was super sweet and everyone appreciated the air conditioning before heading out into the heat of the day!

THE RECEPTION

When the ceremony was over, guests made their way from the church to Jean Acres that was about 30 minutes away. The reception location offered lots of shady areas that made for a fun (and slightly cooler) cocktail hour and reception! Guests were entertained by yard games and the farm’s chickens that were wandering around! The RE Team worked to keep guests happy and cool as possible. We made sure that there was plenty of water and lemonade (which guests went through quickly in the heat)! When it was time for dinner, guests made their way into the barn for a buffet-style meal from Old Heritage Catering that was delicious! During the meal there were a few speeches and toasts that were very heartfelt, love was definitely in the air! After dinner, guests helped themselves to dessert consisting of cupcakes and a cake for the bride and groom provided by the MOG.

Guests then headed outside to watch all the couple’s first dance. They included their son for part of their dance which was so sweet! This was followed by the father-daughter and mother-son dances. The DJ from Flow Event Group invited everyone to the dancefloor and kept them dancing all night long! While everyone was busy dancing and socializing, the couple went with their photographer from Flow Event Group to take some stunning sunset photos. These pictures also show off the bride’s beautiful bouquet made by European Floral!

Once it got dark everyone joined together outside to do a sparkler send off along with lighting some wish lanterns. It was so fun to watch and super pretty in the darkness!

Gina + Justin, the RE team loved being included on your big day! You both were so much fun to work with and we hope that your little family is loving married life so far!

Thank you to Flow Event Group for these amazing pictures of the day!
